✨What is Xinjiang cotton? What is combed cotton?

Xinjiang cotton refers to the variety of "cotton" and combed cotton refers to the "processing technique."
Combing is a process in which cotton fibers are mechanically combed to remove uneven fibers and leave only uniform fibers, making the fabric smooth and stable, just like combing hair straightens it out.
Generally, cotton counts of 60 or higher are combed, which is a sign of medium to high quality. Even if 40 count cotton is combed, the smoothness of the finished product will be significantly different from that of 60 count cotton.
